Castillo del Romeral is a village southeast coast of Gran Canaria and belongs to the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and is a little bit away from the tourist areas. At the port of Castillo del Romeral there is a small sandy beach, where surfers like to be when the wind and waves are favorable. From the port you can also reach two sea pools via the new sea promenade. The place has developed into a preferred residential area due to its direct proximity to the sea and the connection to the motorway. Here you find everything you need for everyday life. Several supermarkets, pharmacy, small cozy shops, medical center, kindergarten, schools and banks. There are numerous bars and good restaurants. At the entrance to the town there is a sports center with a football stadium, a gym and even a small indoor pool.
