Meloneras

Meloneras is a district of Maspalomas in the south of the island of Gran Canaria and belongs to the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. West of the lighthouse begins Meloneras, the newest and most luxurious part of Maspalomas. Fantastic hotel complexes and a congress hall have been built here in recent years. Small preferred residential areas such as El Hornillo offer  houses and villas for sale or rent. International private schools, shopping centers, hospitals, golf course and the close proximity to the beaches make this area so interesting.

Meloneras is certainly one of the most popular holiday areas today, especially for the upscale clientele. Along the promenade you will find many cafes and restaurants with luxurious furnishings that are internationally popular. Next to it are pavilions with perfumeries, fine boutiques. The Varadero shopping center is modern and bright. Shops with designer fashions, jewelers, gifts, tobacco products with exquisite cigars, rare and exquisite wines, also champagne is offered here.

You talk with friends on the beach promenade and find that time loses its power here. Past the terraces from which music sounds, along restaurants, along the promenade that winds its way along the coast until the beach of Meloneras suddenly appears in the last curve. The small beach at the end of the path that you stroll through without feeling the slightest hurry. Places like this, they are balm for the nerves and put things on you site.
