Mogán is a municipality on the south coast of the island. Mogán also includes the fishing village of Puerto de Mogán, (approx. 9 km away from Mogán) the little Venice that is one of the most beautiful seaside village thanks to its unique location and natural surroundings. The marina is a meeting point for many passionate water and sailing athletes. Yacht or boat trips for whale and dolphin watching are popular attractions.

In the past, the place could only be reached by sea. Today there is the coastal road and shipping connections to Puerto Rico and Arguineguín. In addition, the new motorway section was released in 2012 and you can drive directly to the north. This community has become a real tourist magnet in recent years. Along the coast there are areas such as Arguineguín, Patalavaca, Anfi del Mar, Puerto Rico, Amadores, Tauro, Playa del Cura, Taurito and Puerto de Mogán with hotels and restaurants, but also apartment- and bungalow complexes, bars, supermarkets, shopping centers. In Tauro is a golf course “Anfi Tauro Golf”.
